“Just spent 2 weeks with platinum status at this resort.It was extremely difficult if not impossible to get a sun bed on the beach or the platinum only pool.The resort supposedly has a policy that if you are not occupying a sun bed for 30 minutes, it can be taken by another guest.The staff did not enforce the policy leaving guest to sort it out for themselves which led to many contentious situations and arguments between guests.Guests were allowed to take as many towels to claim their territory both on the beach and in the pool which was very unfair to many other guest.Beach beds were usually claim by 6:00 AM but seldom occupied throughout the day.There was little entertainment with the exception of nightly Spanish music.Consider other options unless you like the aggravation.”

“They said there were no day passes so we paid for a 1 night stay. When we were in our room we tried to order room service the man kept hanging up on us. Then they disconnected our phone. Then, another couple walked into our room. We went to the front desk and the told us they double booked our room. Then we returned to our room and our room keys were no longer functioning. We returned to the lobby and spoke with a man named Jenry and he was very rude. He stated since we did not lose anything then it wasn’t a big deal that someone came in our room. He “reprogrammed the key” and sent us with maintenance. Maintenance took off on a bike and told us to wait for transportation back to the room since it was late. When we went to wait for transportation Adolfo allowed another family in front of us told us to wait and just left. We had to wait another 30 minutes for transportation. When we returned to the room a second time the room key was still ineffective. We then walked all the way to the lobby because there was no longer transportation because it was so late. When we got back in the lobby we spoke with David. David was very kind a apologetic. David actually fixed our problem. The next morning we spoke with Freddy and Freddy apologized profusely and gave us a day pass as compensation. For this to be a five star resort and have such poor seeing is absurd. I do not recommend staying here.”
