“Four stars. Given the COVID-19 environment and fact that the eye of Hurricane Ida was over Baton Rouge, the staff manages the hotel well. They do offer the option for a hot or cold breakfast and they have hot coffee. I’d like to point out that the management should train the staff to know the company policy for service animals and to be more sensitive to travelers with service animals. The kitchen staff rudely made comments to me about how service animals are not permitted anywhere in the kitchen areas —I did check with the front desk. I highly recommend the management also post whatever the company policy is in a place to let guests know. Overall, the staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Yes the hotel could stand to be updated and they need to do better with TV offerings. Still, of those things were deal breakers for me. I had a pleasant stay overall.”
