“I stayed here after surgery at the Mayo Clinic because it's very close and I could take the shuttle back and forth to the hospital. The staff went above and beyond. There are three issues.
1) My bathroom was roomy to accommodate a handicapped person, but it was -very- dirty. I wore shower shoes because the floor was greasy. The walls were also greasy. They obviously hadn't been washed in a very long time. Having a pre-op guest shower in a filthy bathroom was a game changer for me.
2) My catalytic converter was stolen out of my car the first night. When I asked to see the video of their parking lot, they said they don't have cameras. They told me that if I park in the first handicapped spaces to the left when I drive in, the Mayo Clinic's cameras will see my car.
3) I paid $110/night. Now, 4/5/2023, they want to charge me $296! I know this Marriott was sold last year, so it appears the new owners are gouging customers by tripling the price. Too many other nice hotels nearby to waste my money on this dirty hotel.”

“Pleasantly surprised! Stayed here while attending a Mayo conference and trying to save money. Needless to say I was expecting more of a “budget-type” hotel. This was way above and beyond! The staff was friendly, from housekeeping to those at the front desk. The breakfast was more than your typical “continental breakfast”. And there was always lemonade/tea/infused water in the lobby. Even a comfy patio, gas grill to use, and great recommendations for restaurants in the area typed up and ready. they thought of everything!”
