“The Drake as a building needs some TLC, but the staff could not be better. Everyone who works there is an asset, and made our stay there a pleasure. The location is perfect; the staff perfect. The room was comfortable and clean and welcoming. The fitness room needs some attention, but they have a Peloton bike, so I was as happy as could be during our stay. I love the Drake and cannot wait to be able to come back.”

“For a hotel that has been around as long as they have you would think they would have figured out customer service by now. But instead the staff was condescendingly placating, rude, and incompetent. They asked us what time we wanted room service, told them 1 pm, and they walked in without knocking at 9am while we were still asleep. We also were expecting a gift bag for the wedding we were attending, and were told three separate times that they forgot to give it to us and would send it up promptly. This of course never happened, and when I finally confronted them about it, they were dismissive and rude and just said they didn’t have it. Had they just said that at the outset that’d be understandable, but instead they tried to pass the buck and not deal with us.”
